'The Alexander Technique works... I recommend it enthusiastically to anyone who has neck pains or back pain.'

- Roald Dahl, writer

The Alexander Technique is a common-sense form of practical self-help which anyone can learn to use for themselves. Through its practice, you can take more control over your actions, improving your balance and co-ordination. It helps hugely with dealing with stress and improving one's ability to relax and not over-react.

FM Alexander developed the Technique over 100 years ago in response to a recurring voice problem. He succeeded in not only sorting out his original problem but improving his overall health as well. His technique is now routinely taught in all major UK and US music and drama schools so that the students can learn to perform with grace and freedom, thereby enhancing their performances and greatly reducing the risk of injury.

Anyone can benefit from it - in my practice alone, I have taught builders, architects, doctors, osteopaths, teachers, academics, administrators, office workers, project managers, investment bankers, landscape architects, students, school children, pregnant women, people working from home, mothers of young children, and retirees.
